Third-Party Services Liability Policy
Draft — Under Legal Review — Not Yet Final
This review outline is not a finalized policy or binding agreement, and viewing or publishing it does not constitute acceptance by you or by GLAION. GLAION is in controlled pre-launch testing and is not yet open to public customers; this draft is published here for transparency only and remains subject to revision before any public launch.
Responsibility boundaries
Review principle: GLAION is responsible for services and systems it directly provides and controls. Independent third-party providers remain responsible for their own infrastructure and services.
Provider categories
Review scope: cloud and hosting; telecommunications; SMS and email; payment processors; AI API providers; DNS and CDN; maps and calendars; external integrations.
Incident classification
Review principle: third-party interruptions, delays, restrictions, changes, and failures must be treated separately from GLAION-controlled service failures and distinguished in SLA availability measurement.
Mandatory obligations
Review principle: contractual limitations or exclusions remain subject to applicable law. Nothing may exclude mandatory obligations, non-excludable liability, or GDPR responsibilities. Final allocation of responsibility requires legal approval.
